Samantha joined the family group at BSLSC in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Samantha articled at one of the largest family law firms in the country, where she gained experience working with clients with complex financial and parenting issues. Samantha brings a unique blend of family expertise, compassion, and advocacy to her practice.

Samantha obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. During her time at law school, Samantha’s dedication to access to justice led her to serve as a Program Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada. In this role, she coordinated with law students to provide free legal assistance to individuals and families in need.

One of the standout moments in Samantha’s legal education was her participation in the 2020 Walsh Family Law Moot, where she represented her institution with distinction. Her team’s outstanding performance led to their recognition as Second Best Overall in the competition. Samantha’s success in this moot court competition highlights her exceptional advocacy skills and her ability to excel in a competitive legal environment.

Samantha’s commitment to providing effective legal solutions for families has driven her to obtain certification in Collaborative Law. This certification underscores her commitment to resolving family law matters amicably and collaboratively, rather through adversarial litigation. Samantha is poised to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the families she serves, ensuring their legal needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
