Cell phone maker, Motorola, is being sued for $35 million by a guy who was injured when his vehicle was hit by another vehicle when the other driver lost control while reaching for her cell phone!

The Ohio owners of a golden retriever, who was injured by an invisible electrical fence, have asked the court to expand the legal status of dogs to allow dogs to sue in court!

A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay its patron $113,500 after she slipped on a soft drink and broke her tailbone. The ridiculous part – the drink was on the floor because the patron had thrown it at her boyfriend 30 seconds earlier during an argument.

Kellogg’s sued the Toucan Golf Course because it used an actual toucan on its logo, which Kellogg’s felt was too similar to its imaginary Froot Loops bird, Toucan Sam. The U.S. Federal Court informed Kellogg’s that real toucans existed first and golf courses have little to do with selling children’s cereal. The case was dismissed.

A Texas mother, was awarded $780,000 by a jury after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store. The misbehaving little tyke – her own son!
